Recently, the Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong issued a notice that if the declaration of lithium battery goods is concealed from ordinary goods, once verified, the shipper and freight forwarder will be prosecuted, with a maximum fine of 250000 and a penalty of two years' imprisonment. Recently, airlines discovered the concealment of lithium battery products in e-commerce goods. Some goods declared as plastic cases, mobile phone cases, cowboy samples, clothing, shoes, toys and other goods actually contain lithium batteries. No matter the goods are lithium battery products for supporting or built-in use, they are not truthfully declared on the waybill. Such false and concealed reporting has violated the Hong Kong Dangerous Goods Safety Management Regulations. Therefore, once this behavior is verified, the consignor and the freight forwarder will be prosecuted, with a maximum fine of 250000 and a penalty of two years' imprisonment. According to Article 50 of the Provisions on the Administration of the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Civil Aviation (Order 42 of the Ministry of Transport), "it is prohibited to carry dangerous goods in ordinary goods or to conceal or falsely report dangerous goods as ordinary goods for consignment." Article 132 "If the shipper or its agent commits one of the following acts, the civil aviation administration department shall impose a warning or a fine of less than 30000 yuan: (7) In violation of this provision, consigning dangerous goods restricted by national laws and regulations, and failing to meet the requirements of relevant laws and regulations;"
