reference resources:
AMS declaration mainly refers to the information in the bill of lading. The freight forwarder can control more when declaring.
ISF declaration is mainly an entity in the supply chain, with some information in the buyer and some information in the seller. How to effectively integrate these information is difficult at the beginning.
If the freight forwarder helps to declare ISF, it must be collected at the time of booking.
Purchase Order of the importer and the item number in the order.
The customs code (HTSUS) corresponding to these item numbers.
The warehouse where the goods are delivered to the United States, or the specific name and address.
The consignee's U.S. tax return number and the importer's file number registered with the U.S. government.
If the importer declares by himself, he must communicate well when declaring.
The boarding date must be declared 24 hours before boarding.
The name and address of the manufacturer. In some cases, the importer needs to be provided by the seller.
The name and address of the cargo loading entity, which also needs to be confirmed with the freight forwarder.
